Engine mounts, 8 mm plates welded into
the chassis rail
this is a nice clean way to set up
engine mounts
2 bolts secure each mount |
|
Front suspension mounted, including VW
(Type three) heavy duty oil filled tube shocks, these are much better
than Mini shocks some people use as there is more travel and the oil
filled shocks give a great ride. |

This is the first set up of the exhaust
outlet
Muffler is mounted under the cabin, it
is an auger style so has a 12 mm pipe straight through the middle and a
metal auger around the pipe, at low revs is sounds like an old hot dog
muffler, and at higher revs it gets quiet.
Pipe is all 2 inch mandrel bent, this
is how it comes up over the chassis rail
another shot of the pipe

Rear cross member cut out and
reinforced to allow the two inch exhaust system to keep high and exit
just under the rear tray. |
