1 Roof f.JPG (103723 bytes)

1 roof d.JPG (87036 bytes)

The Ute as purchased:

The roof had already been chopped

But Badly, roof cut in 4 sections and then sections of

1.6 mm steel welded under the gaps then filled with bog filling the gaps

2 roof e.JPG (105630 bytes)

2 roof f.JPG (91575 bytes)

My first attempt to fix the roof, cut out all the old welded sections and add new steel,

Problem was there was to much distortion from the welding.

3 roof 8.jpg (87012 bytes)

3 roof 1.JPG (119599 bytes)

Third attempt, cut out all the old roof except about 4" from the edge

Use a roof section from a sedan, weld in.

A small skim of bog around the welds will fix it up nice.

Fitting of the rear window.

after the chop the rear window was long and narrow, so a cut down

sunroof was made to fit.

The window will open and can also be removed if required
